TIPS FOR A GREAT TEA EXPERIENCE:

~ Mix herbs evenly before measuring & brewing – especially for our Whole Chai, Red King, Red Queen and Dream blends.

~ Sweeteners – maple is too strong for some of the herbal blends, but great with Red King and the Chais.  We recommend about 1/2 tablespoon of maple syrup or honey per quart of tea, though some like it sweeter.

~ Instant Chais – let the powder settle to the bottom of your cup, or use a fine strainer.

~ Red Queen – we recommend using a cloth or fine mesh strainer for this tea.

~ Whole Chais and Roasted Burdock – Alternate Method:  Steep for 1-12 hours instead of simmering.

~ Re-using the tea leaves?  Gradually increase steeping time and temperature for subsequent brewing.   We usually add a little fresh tea each time we re-brew.  Keep used tea leaves in the fridge for up to 24 hours.
